I like the Vintage Vertical Stripe Blanket from Belladia. Just make your chains a lot shorter than the original 'recipe'. I would also make rows of the same color,working in the ends, rather than have a fringe for a baby blanket. For instance, I made one recently where I did three rows of a color, with one row of a contrast, then three of the previous color, then one or two rows of white..as long as you do the two dcs in the end, chain three, SKIP the first dc, and dc in the rest of the chains, you'll not have crooked ends, and it will look great. I love this simple stitch. One stitch can create a legion of looks, all depending on colors and row placement. Have Fun!
