I was wondering...am I going from her head down or from her bottom up?? I want to use plastic joints for her arms and legs and need to know so I can place them before I get too far and it will be too difficult.

Ok, me again, I'm making her arms. I see in the pictures that she definately has thumbs, yet the pattern doesn't explain how to make them? Did you make little tubes and stitch them on??

I think a person could sculpt the facial features. I used to do that with the cloth dolls that were similarly shaped.
