Knitted washcloth

This is my first attempt at knitting with thin cotton thread, three strands held together. I hope the pattern is visible.

I can't imagine knitting with 3 stands. At least with crochet, you've got a hook to grab the yarn.

MaryPat - I knit "English" style i.e. You hold the yarn/thread in your right hand and wind it round the needle to make a stitch, so it doesn't really matter how many strands.

Julee - so glad you like it. The pattern is from the UK magazine "Let's Knit". If you want to know which month I will go through my pile of magazines and let you know.
