Our climate is so hot and humid that cotton is all we can wear.So thread is the only option if I want my gifts to be used.

This is pattern No. 8 from "Booties by the dozen" (Leisure Arts). Although I should point out that the pattern uses ribbon roses, but I crocheted mine.
