If you could only own ONE HOOK which one & why?

I would have to say my aluminum Susan Bates I 5.5mm hook. Since I use it the most. What about you?

I tend to use my H hook the most. So I would pick it... It's a Susan Bates Silvalume.

 

If I needed to use a huge hook I could just use my fingers... (When I am somewhere and have some yarn but not enough to really make anything or just don't have a hook I use my index finger like a crochet hook...)

An 'F' hook. I use that one the most often especially when working with worsted weight yarn because I tend to crochet loose.

I would have a HARD time choosing one, but I think a Boye size 9 (1.4mm) is probably my favorite, although the Tulip 1.00mm is a close second.

I would say my I hook because I crochet tightly. My aunt crochet's loosely so she has to go down a size and I have to go up. Funny that way.

If I had to pick just ONE...I'd have to say my Susan Bates Bamboo-Handled J hook. I tend to crochet tightly, so I usually need a J hook when I crochet worsted weight yarn. Also, I really LOVE the bamboo-handled hooks.
