Wheel Stitch Square (Tutorial now in Blog)

I've been playing around with the wheel stitch and came up with this. I haven't put an edge on it yet, but it looks interesting...thought you might like to see it.

Thanks - it probably would look better with an edge or if it were blocked since it's sitting there by itself.

Although not the same exact square (the center was started differently), this multi-color version shows the wheel stitch better.

The wheel stitch is created over two rows. It's great fun to see it develop. I'm going to have a tutorial on my blog soon.

It's a neat look, Gene -The wheel in the center of your white one 'moves' me more, but I like the wheel-showcasing found in the multi-colored rows of your second square share. Nice work!
