How to make an I-cord

Just want to share an alternative to make an Icord with crochet hook. It'll be looks same if you make it with knitting hook. Easy to make . Try it an hope you'll like it.

Yes, you just pull through all three to an end, yo again, pull your hook through one loop at your hook. Fasten off.

He wants to do one in LEATHER! He is just getting back into crochet. His grandmother taught him thread crochet when he was FOUR! To keep him busy I guess,his twin brother did not take to it but my BF did. So now he is working with worsted weight and leather. He is actually doing really well.

An I cord is usually used as a drawstring for hoodies etc. Though you can make them into bracelets or whatever you want. I've even seen them used for coiling into small rugs!
