Earth Tones Round Ripple

Yes I did do a round of royal blue before the edging but in sc, but I think I will do it in dc next time. I thought it might make the edging show off a little more. I did the sedge stich for the border but was not sure how to do the inside corners but it turned out okay. Now I want to find out how to do that 3 ch rope stitch border.

It looks GREAT!

 

For the inside corners, depending on the stitch count of the last round, I did a normal skip 2 stitches, but at that point, since it's only one round, it shouldn't matter.

 

On the last couple of RR, I experimented with a round of Extended Single Crochet (esc) before the sedge stitch round. I like the results.
