Christmas gifts began: Stockings

My sister asked me to make her 5 stockings. 1 for each of the grandbabies when they come to her house for Christmas. She wanted them in 5 different colors. Here are the first two (patterns are listed under pics)

This is my favorite stocking pattern. It's quick and looks so beautiful!

I had my hubby put the pattern links under the pictures, so you can grab it.

And I used I Love This Yarn from Hobby Lobby.

But Ive done these in RHSS and many other kinds of Worsted Weight Yarn. They are quite fast and fun!

I didnt find it too soft, no. Stuffings need to be soft enough to stretch for lots of goodie stuffing!

I didn't measure them exactly, but Id say they are normal large stocking size for the mantle. Hope that helps!

You can (and i have) made them with a smaller hook and get smaller ones.
