It looks very Florida'y to me. All the bright sun type shades of color. Plus it's lacy and dainty looking. I bet the retirees here would love it. I think you did a terrific job and although the colors are not my favorites at all, I do think that it is a lovely blanket and will be appreciated by anyone fortunate enough to receive such a great gift.

Oh Darski, I just saw this lapghan and I think it is absolutely beautiful. The border really makes it, I think. And don't forget that these oranges and yellows are very much the "in" thing these days. I just know that somebody is loving this afghan today.
