Sylver's Mary Jane "Skimmers"

I first made these in a med and used one size smaller hook on the top with 2 strands of Caron SS thru out. It came up a little small so I made a 2nd pair in a large and they are super comfy! I used the double strand with a smaller hook so the top would hold its shape better and stay in place better (I made a pair of her other slippers with single on the top as per the pattern, and felt like they were loose)

I have a couple of her patterns and one she uses hemp cord for the bottom of the slipper for outside wear. I have yet to make them.
