Talking Crochet free afghan pattern

Received my Talking Crochet newsletter today, and they had a scrumptious scrap afghan pattern listed. It was called "Grannies Attic" and although simple was unique and pretty.

So many folks like the traditional granny square pattern, and this is just a variation on it. I like how it uses the different variations and shading just like when quilting.

The shading in that afghan is beautiful. Forget using scraps I would need to buy alot of yarn to replicate it.
