Taught my friend a few things last night!

My friend asked me to help her learn to crochet!!! She is very crafty already, and she really wanted to expand her abilities! Her first lesson was last night! We started of with SS yarn & an H hook, but she was making everything too tight so I upped her hook to an I. I showed her a slip knot, chains, and a slip stitch! By the end of our 2 hr session we had each made a loopy scrunchie! She did great! Next lesson will be single crochet & double crochet, and we will make a small scarf! I am very excited to be able to teach her and she seems excited to learn! Fun evening!

Sounds like great fun. I am going to visit a friend for the 4th of July. She is wanting to learn, too. I'm hoping our lessons go as well as yours. Good luck on session 2.
