I need an easy beginner pattern for baby booties

I am looking for an extra easy pattern for baby booties. I need the pattern to be free. My sister is expecting her child to be born January. So I would like to try knitting baby booties. It will probably take me till January to finish the set!

In the May 2009 issue of Creative Knitting, there is an adorable baby set including booties.

 

The bootie is made on 2 size 5 needles. You just stitch up the bootie, and then sew up the back and bottom seam.

 

I have made them and they turn out really cute.

 

The name of the pattern is Buttercup Baby Set on page 52.
