I have a new dishcloth/washcloth pattern up on my new blog. It's called Meadow Breeze Dishcloth. I used Lily's Sugar 'n Cream and an "H" hook. It's a simple beginner type pattern. http://athomeonthemeadow.blogspot.com/2013/08/meadow-breeze-dishcloth-pattern.html Thank you for looking and have a great day, Heather

Here is my crocheted wavy ripple dishcloth pattern. This pattern works up fast and uses less than a 2 oz ball of cotton. I first tried this stitch pattern with a lapghan and really like the look of it. So after a little trial and error, I came up with this dishcloth design. You could make some cute facecloths with the pattern too.

I've been crocheting lots of washcloths and facecloths lately for the Warmth for Warrior project. I've been making these smaller star facecloths which is a variation of my larger star dishcloth pattern. These work up fast and they are great for using up scraps of cotton. Here are a few I did with different colors of yarn. The cloth is 7 inches long.

Here is a cotton cloth pattern I crocheted that resembles the flag. It could be used as a decorative square too if you want. Here is the free crocheted flag washcloth pattern.

Here is a simple crochet pattern for a washcloth or dishcloth. I call the pattern Corded Cloth because of the border which in done is reverse single crochet or crab stitch. ETA: Direct photo link
