  1. This was one of my favourite projects from last year! A friend asked me to make her some dragon scale gloves with a matching scarf; I couldn't find a free pattern at the time so I made a practice set with cheap yarn before moving onto the variegated stuff. The scarf is longer and thinner than I would normally make but thats just how she wanted it I'm really happy with how they turned out
  2. This is my most recently completed chemo hat for the sister of a friend of mine who is undergoing chemo therapy. I think I have no finished enough of them to get her through to the early fall so I can begin to get ready for my state fair project. Here is my blog post about it, and here is the photo:
  3. I love color. That is what draws me first. This is a pretty easy and effective motif for any granny square project that does not require huge blocks.
