A few years ago I made a kitchen towel topper that used a V-stitch. I can't find the pattern anywhere. I don't remember if I made it up or had a free pattern. I've tried to reproduce the pattern, but am stuck. Can anyone help me? Where I am stuck is decreasing the basic pattern. It's hard to tell because I've sc around the outside. The base row pattern looks like a sc, sk 1 ch, V-stitch repeat and has 3 V-stitches in the that row. I am not sure how the second row starts or ends - this is the decrease I'm struggling with, but it has 2 V-stitches in that row, each worked in the sc of the first row. The third row (I believe) starts with 2 dc, V-stitch in the sc, 2 dc. That row is repeated about 12 times, except the V-stitch is worked in the previous row's V-stitch. So I'm looking for how to decrease the V-stitch, sc pattern from 3 V-stitch to 2 V-stitch OR the original pattern for this towel topper. Either would be appreciated.
