    CLOSED: amigurumi baby

UPDATE *** I found enough testers for the amigurumi baby, but I would like to add a few more people to my test group for future patterns. If you're interested you can join my FB group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/461420530700587/ *** Hi, I'm currently looking for testers for my amigurumi baby pattern. The pattern is already tested in Dutch, but it's now translated into English and since I'm not a native speaker, I would like to find some English speaking pattern testers. You need some yarn, some soft stuffing and safety eyes (can be replaced by embroidery thread) (see picture). It' s not a big doll so I make it in less than a day. If you're less experienced it might take a bit longer, which is OK. It's a written pattern with a lot of photos. skill level: beginner to intermediate yarn used: coton yarn calling for a 2,5/3mm hook. (US C/2, UK11 or 12) . You can use other yarn as well. I welcome all testers who want to try the pattern, and check the gramar of the pattern as well. I would also like to receive a photo of your finished item. For this pattern I would like to have 3 testers, but I will be needing some more in the future. Everyone who has a serious interest can ask to join my FB group for testers: https://www.facebook.com/groups/461420530700587/ As a compensation you get the final version of the pattern with all the amendments, my eternal gratitude and discounts on future patterns. Thank you Tinneke "Peggy Sew"

Deadline: I would like to have reviews back by 8/20 but am flexible if more time is needed. Tester Experience: Testing experience is not needed Tester Responsibilities: I would like for the tester to work through the pattern and make notes about any errors that are found such as stitch counts, abbreviations, spelling, grammar etc... 5. I am looking for 3 testers for a bottle or cup cozy that represents the Nitrox flag for scuba divers. I've put together the preliminary pattern - I may do some color adjustments on it. But I would just like to know if my directions are clearly written and will produce the item as I picture it. If you are interested in testing this pattern for me, please send me a pm and I'll forward the pattern to you. Thanks in advance.
  6. Thank you for your concern. I have just started to create crochet pattern, and this is my very first project. The pattern required hook sizes 4mm and 5mm. Any worsted weight yarn will work. I used caron simply soft for this dress. Could you please test and point out any confusing in the pattern( if occur)? If you can check the size if fit, I thank you very much. If you are interesting to help me, please let me know your email and sizes you wanna test. Thank you.

  8. Pattern Information Pattern Description: A medium-width garter stitch scarf with two ribbons of ruffle yarn spiraling upward across front and back of scarf. Pattern Style: written Pattern Photo (optional): Skill Level: Advanced beginner. I would like a few testers with basic knooking or Tunisian experience and a few without. Yarn/Material/Tools Required: Tester will provide own materials and keep finished project. No specific yarns are required, just general types as described below. One or two skeins of worsted weight yarn One skein of ladder yarn Size H or I interchangeable crochet hook Suggested Material Sources: Knitter’s Pride interchangeable hook AND interchangeable cable set OR Whole set of interchangeable hooks (if you want a whole set of hooks) Rozetti Tundra yarn Euro Tinseltown yarn Katia Rizos yarn Knitting Fever Ripple yarn Cascade Yarns 220 Superwash (not sure if you’ll need 1 or 2 skeins) Caron Simply Soft (one skein) Sample of Ladder Yarn Needed: You can buy yarn from wherever you choose, and it doesn't have to be the brands listed. It just needs to be a basic worsted weight and a ladder yarn of this type. I do suggest that you select a worsted weight yarn that is very close to the color used in the ladder part of the yarn. In my sample scarf photo, the ladder yarn has black thread used to make the boxes of the ladder part. If you look closely at the large photo, you'll see that you can notice that black being carried through the garter-stitch only portion of the scarf. You probably don't want that effect in a scarf you actually complete. Tester Information Number of Testers Needed: 4-6 Approximate Time Required to Complete Project: unknown; less than 10 hours, I think? Deadline: mid-January Tester Experience: 2-3 with no previous knooking experience; 2-3 with basic knooking experience Tester Responsibilities: Work pattern exactly as written. As soon as something is unclear, stop work, and contact me with your comment or question. After we work together to resolve your problem, continue on as above. Email me pictures of your finished scarf. If you have really good pictures, I may ask to use them in pattern. (You would be additionally compensated for this.) If you have a really striking finished item (use of yarn and color), I may ask you to send it to me for a photo shoot so I could include pictures of it in the pattern. (I'll pay all shipping costs. Credit would be given in pattern for any photos or finished item used. Add finished item to your projects at Ravelry AFTER the finished pattern has been released. Any Special Software Requirements: None. All comments can be sent through email or PM. Compensation Free copy of final pattern. Credit in pattern if your photos or finished item are used.
  9. **I have a tester but may open it back up to more** This hat has been tested by a very nice, wonderful, patient tester & she had a few issues but got it done quickly & said it was challenging. I need someone who maybe has tested for me before but if you haven't & I know you from the forum that's fine too. Let's just say I had a bad experience with a tester & do not want to go through that again. So you need to have made Hats many Hats not just 1 or 2 & Need to be up for a challenge and some new stitches. I looked everywhere for the stitch and while I found some things kinda like it they weren't exactly the same. So waht you need it patience, skills as in not a beginner and someone who has made many hats.Sorry if I'm repeating myself but this is important. You'll need to check gauge because it's a wearable & that's important. You'll need 7 ozs of a WW yarn & an I hook or hook to get to the gauge. I did not use the whole 7 ozs but just in case. I used I Love This Yarn & the hat fits me nicely and I have an average sized adult head. Also you must be able to give me feedback & ask questions along the way if you have questions ask them right then don't try to figure it all run screaming & say I'm the worst designer ever A week should be enough time to get the pattern done. My other tester got it done in a few hours but she is Superwoman No Kidding really outfit & all So if you had the patience to read this whole post & still feel you can take on the challenge send me a pm
