  1. So, I’m what I’d call an “advanced beginning” with a lot of tenacity... I’ve been trying to make a beanie from a pattern which calls for a Celtic weave stitch. Ive watched some YouTube tutorials and I THOUGHT I understood how it works but I keep ending up with a bit of a mess. Im mostly struggling with the back post portion of the stitch which starts on row 3. (No real issues with row 2 front post). I don’t know if my tension is an issue but the project just doesn’t lie very flat as soon as I’ve completed row 3. I’m also struggling to know where to enter for the back post stitch for stitches 1 & 2. Do I move the 3 & 4 stitches out of the way to the left or right? I’ve just started with a sample piece to figure it out before I do the beanie. Sorry if I’ve not explained this very well, just hoping that someone out there is well-practiced in this stitch and can give me some pointers or advice for avoiding certain common mistakes? I’m desperate to get it - I hate the idea of just abandoning it! thanks in advance!

    What is This Stitch?

Hi all ! I created a crochet pattern the other day and used what I thought was an extended double crochet stitch ....but NO ....it wasn't . And I have no idea what its called or if it's even an actual stitch . It looks awesome for the little toddler crown I made , so ya I really need to call it something lol !! I did my chain stitch's and then the next row I did ( YO insert in stitch YO and pull through then through the 2 stitch's on hook ) like starting out for DC but ending as a slip stitch through the 2 on hook . Anyway this stitch looks awesome for what I was wanting with this crown . Here is the pic ; the stitch is the bottom three rows and the row right below the crown spikes . Anyone know what it is !? ******* If it's not already a stitch I think I'll call it an "extended slip stitch " ******
  3. I need help identifying just the lace pattern going on in the middle of this body suit. Please and thank you!
  4. Someone gave me this headband and I would love to make my own. Anyone know this pattern or the middle stitch?
  5. Hi. I've made a blanket for our daughter....whew...haha I have found the edging I'd like to use on it but it doesn't have a pattern its the pic. I'm adding the pic and if anyone can tell me how to duplicate the edging I would appreciate it so much! However if this is illegal don't do it. I'm unfamiliar with how this works....but if it's ok and you can help me I would be so so grateful. Thank you, Felecia
  6. I'm thinking the top stitches are either double or half double but the bottom ones that looks like its going sideways I'm at a loss. Anyone have a guess. Thanks for any help
  7. I have been trying to figure out these (or this, if they're the same) stitches for a little while now. Does anyone know what they are? Thanks.
  8. I'm in desperate need of help!! A pattern I'm following calls for a TRD.....I have NO CLUE what the D stands for....I know it's Treble something..... I appreciate any size! Thx!

I admit I'm a bit new to crocheting, but the internet has been able to help me a lot! However, this set of stitches has me totally stumped and nothing I do seems to be right. Help if you can!
