Hi everyone, I’m trying to figure out how to make a bag out of spaghetti yarn (t shirt yarn). Every way I’ve tried it’s just not turning out smooth without holes. I’ve tried using a smaller hook size but it turns out very stiff then I tried using the correct 15mm size hook but it turned out with a lot of holes from the hook size. Am I using the wrong yarn or am I just not doing this correctly. Any help would be great please. Thank you!
Pattern Information Pattern Description: Flying Spaghetti Monster Hat/Beanie Pattern Style: Written with pictures Pattern Photo (optional): Skill Level: Intermediate Yarn/Material/Tools Required: 4 colors of Caron Simply Soft Yarn, Crochet hook size F/5 3.75MM, Yarn needle, Poly-fill and small pieces of pantyhose. I am not able to provide these materials so the tester would need to have them or get them. Colors other than the ones I used in the pattern can be used but the type of yarn needs to match for sizing purposes. Tester Information Number of Testers Needed: 3 Approximate Time Required to Complete Project: This project took me about 3 nights to finish. Deadline: I would like to have reviews back by 8/20 but am flexible if more time is needed. Tester Experience: Testing experience is not needed Tester Responsibilities: I would like for the tester to work through the pattern and make notes about any errors that are found such as stitch counts, abbreviations, spelling, grammar etc... Also make sure that everything makes sense and if not provide opinions or suggestions about how things could be better. I would also like to know if the gauge provided the correct size when finished. The pattern is in PDF format. Compensation I will provide a free copy of the finished pattern.
