  1. Hello everyone, My name I Autumn. I am, since December 20 was my B-day, now 41. I have three kiddos; Brianna (20), Ricky (10), and Ashley (will be 9 in month and a half). Like to crochet, and knit a bit too. Really, I do a little of several crafts, just have phases that rotate! Like trying new crafts, or maybe new technique for an old craft. Love to bake, and candy making has pushed up recently. Hope that's what you were looking for, if not you'll get a better sense of me, in time, in any community interactions here! Looking forward to all the possibilities from this site, and maybe being able to share something I do or know back to brighten your experience here, too.
  2. My dad is having back surgery because of a tumor on his spine/back and I want to make him a prayer shawl with pockets so he can hold all the small things that he would need and not have to get up to get them. I’d like the pattern to be free or inexpensive, not a scarf, and either be manly or be able to adapt for a man. (I did see one topic about this here, but it was from 2016 and all the links people gave are broken.)
  3. Thank you very much, Darski, for allowing me to be part of Crochetville. I like the name and the way the site is set up. I am a by-the-book gal and appreciate the order and structure plus the effort which has gone into your site. I am happy to meet everyone and the other members who are presently joining. I apologize but my uploads failed because they are too large with the full pattern.
  4. I am anxiously waiting for retirement so all I have to do is crochet and do crafting. I am gathering patterns and organizing my craft room. I have eight grandchildren that are pitter-pattering into their teens and have less to do with Nana than before so I have even more time on my hands... !!! I look forward to access to great free patterns from this great group.
  5. I've been working on some shawls but the first one would probably be a better scarf then shawl. I didn't use a pattern for this one and the yarn was left from another project. This one is Smoke & Mirrors Wrap from Crochet! Autumn 2013. I used Uptown Baby Sport yarn. A couple years ago someone gave me a few balls of Carmencita thread in a beautiful teal. I finally decided to use it. This is Isolde Shawl from Crochet! Summer 2013.
  6. If you are keeping up with my design challenge, "12 Shawls in 2012", I have uploaded May's shawl. You can get it here! Thanks!
  7. I've got a lovely and yet easy medallion for you! It has a generous size also, to make your work come together faster! You will find the FREE pattern here: http://funmigurumiandkidsstuff.blogspot.com/2011/07/heiferetta-moolove.html Clotilde
