I just posted my Girls Easter Shawl pattern on Crochetville here http://www.crochetville.com/community/files/file/543-girls-spring-easter-shawl/ I'd love some feed back. I couldn't get more pictures to upload. You can see more on my Etsy shop www.etsy.com/shop/littlemonkeyshop Thanks, Angela
Just released last week: Milk Thistle Shawlette! Check out the inspiration behind this shawlette here. This shawlette is made with Tilli Tomas, "Plie" and can cost a lot of money. No worries though. I've scoured the internets for some yarn that would be much cheaper, made from bamboo, without losing the lovin' feelin' of the wonderful drape from Plie. "Flirt DK" by Sirdar - $6.95 a skein - and it comes in a similar palette as the orginal design "Silk Bamboo" by Patons - $6.49 "Snuggly Baby Bamboo DK" by Sirdar - $6.95
I bought this pattern on Ravelry called Geoui(Almost) by Joyce Yu. I just loved it, simple but elegant. It is side to side construction and you make the edging as you go; it's very clever. I used a tiny bit more than one skein of Noro sock (hence the crazy colors) and a 4.5 mm hook. I should have used an H hook, oh well, live and learn. (I also added little dangly motifs on the ends-- a little extra flair is always fun.)
