This was one of my favourite projects from last year! A friend asked me to make her some dragon scale gloves with a matching scarf; I couldn't find a free pattern at the time so I made a practice set with cheap yarn before moving onto the variegated stuff. The scarf is longer and thinner than I would normally make but thats just how she wanted it I'm really happy with how they turned out

Crochet free beautiful patterns under the name of scales. It really looks like the scales, but also shells. The free crochet patterns is one of the ways easier and impressive craft at scales images drawing. Outline your own design, based on models of quilts, simple graphics for free cross stitch, or any illustration in silhouette style. Be aware of the scale (the default is almost always more work than plot the graph) and understand that the checkered geometry will better show the flow curves, and relatively isolated figures are better than those placed in complex backgrounds. Start with a simple rectangular panel as a diamond model in harlequin style. http://www.crochetwebsitesfreepattern.com/2016/05/how-to-make-point-scale-free-pattern.html
