  1. I've been in the mood to make baby blankets lately. The other day I finished a pink and cream colored one. You can see it on my blog. The cream color yarn is some vintage stuff I picked up a few years ago and the pink is Red Heart Super Saver. I really need to shrink my stash so there may be a few more of these in the near future. Thanks for looking.
  2. Here is another round ripple I have done. It is 70" in dia and I made it for my brother who is a Raiders fan. I kinda used the Lyn's Round Ripple Afghan pattern at http://project-angel-kisses.150m.com/roundripple.html I modifed the 2nd round where instead of 2 dc in ea dc around I did 1dc then 1ch. On the third round I did the 'v' stitches in the ch1 space so that it opened up the stitches better. I got tired of just a circle of dc in the middle. r I also didn't do the 1dc-2ch-1dc every 2 rounds since my afghan didn't get 'wavy'. I only did it at the beginning around the 5th and 7th round and that was all.
  3. Here are 2 round ripples I have made recently. The purple one is 42" in dia. and the earth-tone one is 53" in dia. The green I used in the earth-tone one didn't come out in the pictures. I used chenille thread doubled in the earth-tone one and fuzzy white yarn in the purple one. I liked using textured yarns to give them dimensions. I used Lyn's baby round ripple pattern as a start. http://project-angel-kisses.150m.com/roundripple.html

    Round Ripple Baby

I finished this today. I used AggieMay's pattern. The yarn is Sensations Cuddle. The afghan is about 42" across. I'm not sure who is getting this one yet, I know a couple people who are expecting.
  5. I'm not sure who this afghan is going to but I had yarn left from another baby afghan and decided to use it up. I used TLC Baby in Giggle Print and White for this afghan, I really like the giggle print colors.
  6. Hi, Just finished this up today, have a few more ends to weave, but other than that, Im counting this one done! I have feelers out to my daughter, asking her opinion on it, and if she loves it, and I know she will, she will be getting a package containing said afghan! She only has one other I made her, which is a granny trimmed in white, with her inititals on the bottom, don't ask how I did that, I don't remember, lol anyway, here it is, up for your approval, or disapproval, whatever the case may be......... I present to you, without further ado, ......The Jennifer! forgot to add it measures approx. 65-70 inches from point to point.
  7. i had to buy another skein of the navy...it wasn't on sale this time so i didn't buy the other three colors... it's a bit small. it will be going to charity it's red heart soft yarn in navy, denim and guacamole. i used Lyn's RR pattern again
