  2. Hi, I've been working on making this beautiful toque originally by Magic Doll, but I am now having difficulties with the flower. Every pattern I find isnt the right stitch/look. Would anyone happen to know a good pattern or video I could follow to recreate this? Any size is fine, I'll adjust to make it this large. Also, I'm looking for the red parts, the black parts seem to be a faux fur yarn she has added in. If I were more trusting of online shopping, I would gladly buy it, I find it stunning. I've included the link below as well as attached pictures. http://www.dezzal.com/hats/petal-knitted-hit-color-hat-p_63812.html Thank you!
  3. This afghan will be a Christmas gift for my mother. The pattern is Rose Trellis Afghan from Caron. I used Vanna's Choice yarn. The afghan is 55" x 65".
  4. My mom loves apple-picking so I thought this would make a nice mini apple bag for her. It's a tote done in pineapple lace stitch, and it fits about 2-4 skeins of yarn, 5-6 apples, or even... wait for it... 1 pineapple! I decided to add a rose for some pop of color. Here are the patterns, hook sizes, and yarn I used: Yarn: Caron Simply Soft (Dark Red), and a worsted weight green/brown/white variegated yarn I got a while back (...can't remember the brand name, sorry) Hooks: 3.25 mm and 3.5 mm for the rose / 3.75 mm for the bag Patterns: Pineapple Lace Market bag and Rose Merry Xmas Eve~! - Di
  5. Hi Everyone, my name is Sharon. I love to crochet and craft with buttons and fabric. I especially love to make flowers for hair, shaws and hats. I'm going to attemps to make a baby blanket from crochet flowers. Wish me luck. I'm planning on selling my handcrafts on Etsy. Hope you stop by my shop. I don't have any crochet items yet. LOL, But hopefully soon. I'm a mom raising two boys. We love the SF Giant sand 49ers. My oldest son also like the Falcons, my youngest like the Saints. My goal is to make them each a soft blanket with their teams on them. Email me if you want a crochet friend!! sharonyvo@gmail.com

  7. It's been months since I made some doily or runner, so when my friend moved to her new house, I decided to make something for her. She chose the pattern and it's funny, because long time ago I made the same runner for me, which she didn't know. I guess it means the pattern is very special...
  8. I'm thinking about using this across the top of a baby afghan...I think it will look better with a few adjustments, and a border (maybe some cables)...

  10. These roses were inspired by the teaching of artist Helen van Wyk. She painted flowers absolutely beautifully. This free pattern is offered by Lark Crafts to give everyone a tiny glimpse into Crochet Garden, which will be on the market in May 2012. The roses are easy and pretty! The yarn in the photo is lovely: Prism Yarns "Symphony." Here's the link: http://www.larkcrafts.com/needlearts/free-project-crocheted-roses/
