Hi Everyone! We all know that gift-giving time is approaching and you might be looking for some pretty things to add to your list, if you are going to be giving handmade gifts this year. Adalene is ideal for you! It is relatively easy and it works up really fast, doesn't take up an entire skein of yarn and you can whip up several to give away to female friends, relatives, co-workers, etc, who love feminine cowls. This pattern has been very popular at Craftybegonia blog and I want to share it with you all. It is also great for those of you who crochet for charity, since the winter months are crucial. You will find the free pattern here: http://craftybegonia.blogspot.com/2016/09/adalene.html Take care! Clotilde

I love ponchos. I finished this red one last week. It has chain loop fringe: no mess, no fuss...and I just love this technique.

I am not able to provide these materials so the tester would need to have them or get them. Colors other than the ones I used in the pattern can be used but the type of yarn needs to match for sizing purposes. Tester Information Number of Testers Needed: 3 Approximate Time Required to Complete Project: This project took me about 3 nights to finish. Deadline: I would like to have reviews back by 8/20 but am flexible if more time is needed. Tester Experience: Testing experience is not needed Tester Responsibilities: I would like for the tester to work through the pattern and make notes about any errors that are found such as stitch counts, abbreviations, spelling, grammar etc... Also make sure that everything makes sense and if not provide opinions or suggestions about how things could be better. I would also like to know if the gauge provided the correct size when finished. The pattern is in PDF format. Compensation I will provide a free copy of the finished pattern.
