I'm trying to crochet a rainbow blanket pattern. I started with a chain of about 45, double crochet to the end, 6 dcs in the last chain and double chain back down the chain. Row 2 dcs in each stitch to the end and put 2 dcs in each of the 6 dcs at the end of the chain for 12 dcs to turn, then dcs to the end. It worked beautifully. My question is how to proceed. Do I keep adding 6 stitches for each new row? Does this work when I'm on row 20 when the work is much wider? I tried to add stitches as they felt necessary and ended up with more of a mushroom shape than an arc. Clearly, I ad

*PATTERN ONLY* https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/562772356/crochet-pattern-for-our-slouchy-rainbow Another one of Jan's beautiful hats! We love the colour of this wool; it reinds us of the autumal colours of the leaves in the trees. The wool is soft and warm and is a lovely addition to a warm winter walk! We can't stop wearing this style and always recieve compliments on the unique appearance of this hat! You will need: a 5.5mm crochet hook, yarn needle, some polyester toy stuffing and a chunky yarn; I have used the following yarn: James C Brett Marble Chunky- colour

I am looking to design a bag that is attractive, but not as fussy as many of my other designs. This is my first attempt, and I think it shows promise. I have to add braiding to my skill set, and getting up to speed on that took some doing. Here is the blog post with more photos.

I just got my hands on another test pattern for Eileen Tepper, and I love it! Here is my blog post about the adventure. This one embodies everything I want in a hat. I did it in rainbow colors because that was easier for me than trying to keep the color changes in my beloved Red Heart Super Saver grape fizz all lined up while I had coffee with my mom, but I am definitely making a grape fizz version of this:
