Cot Blanket, Baby Girl - Pink

A friend at my local craft club, asked me to make a crochet blanket for her great niece, big enough for her cot! I followed the tutorial for Bella Coco’s Granny Heart tutorial for the heart squares and created some plain squares too! Then crocheted it together and stuck a granny stripe border on it.

Many crocheters love the texture of knit items and secretly wish for the same in their craft. Ashlyn has so much drape that it feels like knit fabric but in crochet, and it's quite easy to make. You will find the free pattern here: http://www.craftybegonia.blogspot.com/2016/04/ashlyn.html Enjoy! Clotilde

    Cookie poncho

I made this cookie poncho for the granddaughter of a friend of mine from high school. As I have no grandchildren of my own, I think she is just super for her willingness to share. Here is one of my many blog posts about the project, and here is a photo of the project itself:

    First Panda Bear

This is my first Panda Bear. I have created two so far. It started making other animals. They are really fun to make, but even more fun when you give them as a gift. The special little girls in my life loves all three things I have made for her. I did a bunny, owl and panda for her.
  15. My 12 year old DD has been into making these lately. They take her about 2 and 1/2 hours. What do you think? She does some craft fairs, and she is making them to sell. Pricing suggestions?? She learned how from a youtube video from yolandasotolopez.
  16. I made this for my little 3 yr. old granddaughter. We made a trip to the store and these are the colors she picked out. Camo flowers aren't so bad after all I used Red Heart yarn and the pattern is #97 in "99 Granny Squares to Crochet" by Leisure Arts.

    Jan Eaton's Lacy Cross square

I got this from Jan Eaton's 200 Crochet blocks for blankets, throws, and afghans. I am having trouble resisting all of the goodies in this book, but I would like to finish whatever this is I have started. If you would like to read more about this endeavor, I have written about it here, otherwise, here are the squares. The photo on the right is the lacy cross squares on their own, and the photo on the left shows them interspersed with Jan Eaton's Willow square:

    Pink Baby Tap Shoes

These booties were made for my cousin's baby. I modified the pattern from a black/white theme to pink/white and used a pink gingham ribbon. They turned out so cute. The yarn was from my stash and the white yarn has a shinniness to it that I really like. (Only a bit left now - saving for something special!) The pattern is called "Tap Dance Shoes" and is from the Annie's Attic Pattern Book #874050 Precious Baby Booties.
  21. Hi all! It's time for kuddles to do another giveaway! This time I produced a hot pink wool felted bag with a nice long strap to go over your shoulder! And if you want to add why YOU are one hot crochet mama, that would be super awesome! Might just make you the winner! Here is my creation...and thanks for your interest!
