  9. Hello, I am looking for a pattern for a larger pillow sized guinea pig. It doesn't need to be very large but bigger than the typical amigurumi size. Can anyone help?
  10. This is my new pattern of a pillow cover published on Ravelry yesterday. This crocheted Dahlia decoration for pillow cover consists of 9 square motifs made in Overlay crochet technique. If you use other colour palette for this pattern, your pillow cover will look completely different, and unique. Many Popcorn stitches used in this pattern give the whole design nice volume and structure. This square motif can be also used for blankets, bags or just as an appliqué for clothes, curtains and so on. The motif is very thick as it has two layers due to large amount of overlay stitches. So if you decide to crochet a double sided pillow cover – you will not even have to buy or sew a fabric pillow case.
  11. Here's a picture of the granny square pillow I made! I started it in the spring, then I put it away for a while. I finally took it out again and finished it two days ago. It was pretty simple to make, and my mom and sister love the way it looks in our family room!
  12. I crocheted this pillow for a neighbor. I used worsted weight yarn and a 16" craft pillow instead of the dk yarn and 12" pillow called for because I couldn't find the colors that I wanted to use in the dk yarn.

    One more owl

My friend asked me to make the owl cushion for her sister's birthday. So here it is Yarn: Himalaya Merkan Batik (body) and Alize Cotton Gold Hook: Clover 3,5mm
  14. Once upon a time there was a Fairy God Mother living in fantastic place called Crochetville She gifted my the pattern for Owl Cushion by ShiFio's Patterns. I went for holidays to the seaside and took this owl project with me. It's really great pattern, although I found sewing on all the parts the most difficult. So here is my very first owl - pillow and believe it or not - not the last one And what I like the most about it - this one is FOR ME Yarn: Alize Cotton Gold Hook: Clover 2,5mm
  15. Here's a great pattern for a crocodile stitch pillow: http://knitabitcrochetaway.blogspot.com/2013/07/pattern-crocodile-stitch-pillow.html It comes out with nice ruffles and is much easier to make than it looks.
  16. The pillow top for this pattern is done in a geometric pattern, more appealing to men. http://www.crochetparfait.blogspot.com/2013/06/masculine-pillowgahn.html
  17. I did this set (Pillow, Rug, and Afghan) for my grand daughter, she loves sitting on her rug and playing with her toys there. The set has the square in softer colors, but I like the bright darker colors better. Would be great for children or in a sun room to brighten it up. It's available at http://www.sonsuray.com/afcat1.asp?type=baby
  18. Some tote patterns I have done up, but a few in a CAL recently did them up as pillows and they were really beautiful. Available for purchase at http://www.sonsuray.com/afcat1.asp?type=stainglass

  23. Last week, I wandered into a Jonathan Adler store to drool over his bargello pillows, and I got this idea that maybe I can do something like that with crochet. I've done a little bargello in the past, and I don't enjoy it very much. But I do LOVE to crochet. I'm not necessarily trying to recreate one of his patterns in crochet-I actually tried, and it didn't work very well-but I would like to do something that's more of a tribute to him. His stuff is more geometric than floral, and he uses great color combinations. Does anyone have any ideas about a pattern or stitch that looks great in bright colors, but isn't a hexagon or flower? These are some of my favorites: http://www.jonathanadler.com/Bargello-Diamonds-Pillow/?cat=407&initial=3298 http://www.jonathanadler.com/Bargello-Chevron-Pillow-8959/?cat=407&initial=8958 http://www.jonathanadler.com/Bargello-Waves-Pillow/?cat=407&initial=5754
