    Hello fellow crocheters

Hello I just signed up I been trying to find some good friends that crochet, talk crochet, as a single parent I do the best I can to crochet I signed myself up at a crochet group in my local church but no one still hasn’t set up a meet up place. Sigh I used to sell my crochet projects in 2008-2016 I stopped for an odd reason something was missing I haven’t figured out what yet but now I crochet once in a blue moon I learned how in High School class of 03 so I finally finished my first hardest hello kitty hat pattern a few weeks ago it felt like the pattern was way advanced for me since I am still working on beginner and easy patterns so it turned out really well I was proud of it and my friends daughter was a happy kid 😇 any ways I posted of the projects I got done in 2010,most recent ones are hello kitty hat and a dusty rose butterfly baby hat. I hope to get to know you all meet more crochet pals as I go lots of hugs 🤗.

Greetings! I'm an old dragon gone to roost. My mind and hands are about all that still function. I have been crocheting since est. age 10, but never had any guidance. What I thought was a single crochet for 3 decades, I have learned is really a slip stitch. All Blessing to the Internet!!! lol For the last year I have made a determined effort to learn to crochet so I could make the things I couldn't afford. Like the beautiful shawl in all the right colors...sells at the craft shows for $250...out of my reach!! But $25 for yarn and a month of time...and I run around like a peacock with his tail spread!!! That's mainly because people have complimented it!! So now at just shy of 55, I'm taking off!! Granny thought I was 'slow', Mom didn't have 'time to waste on girly stuff', but I see it all as a way to love. The look in the person's eyes when I hand them a hat while they sit on cold concert waiting for the shelter to open...I want to do that all the time!! Merry Meet!!
  3. Hi everybody! My name is Kris Ham and I am new here. I am so very excited to have found crochetville and cannot wait to see all the great things I can learn from and share with y'all! I have been crocheting for about 4 years now and I am looking into making some extra cash from it. Currently, I am a teacher in a small town here in Texas. I teach middle school (6th-8th) Technology Applications and I absolutely love my job! I hope each of you are having a very blessed day! Love, Kris

    Hi! B-)

Hi, I'm Toni from San Diego, CA. I am a native of So Cal but I love to travel, so I've seen many beautiful places on this planet of ours! I also enjoy horseback riding, reading, star-gazing & crocheting (of course). I'm not very good, but I do find it to be very therapeutic! It is especially helpful when I feel a panic attack coming on. Don't get them very often but when I do... Well, let's just say that hooking is my drug of choice! I'm currently really enjoying making a thick, fuzzy-green blanket as a Christmas gift for my son. By using a size N hook, I'm getting a lot done in very little time! Using the big hook has been really emotionally satisfying! I hope I will get to know a few of you in forum as I strive to learn, grow & risk breaking out of the "box" (currently my favorite things to crochet are scarves & blankets, lol).
