Crochet Today! magazine July/Aug 2012 issue

Hi, I'm looking to purchase a copy of this issue, unless someone knows of a pattern on how to cover ikea lampshades. They have a pattern on seashell lamps in this issue. The magazine is discontinued and I can't find it in any library. The publisher no longer has the issue either and I can't find it on ebay. Any help (within the guidelines of course) would be appreciated! Many thanks, heylaine

    Crochetvolution is up!

I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this but I figured since it's full of free patterns this could be a good fit. The first issue of Crochetvolution is live, and I am as pleased as can be!!!
  11. I was just browsing the available magazines for my Nook and found Crochet Today! (Also Knit Today!) Since they give a 14-day trial period, I decided to take the plunge. http://search.barnesandnoble.com/Crochet-Today/Future/e/2940000984703/

    Soda tab bracelet

I saw in a recent magazine, for the life of me I can't remember which, a bracelet made from soda tabs. I loved it and wanted to make one, but didn't want to buy the magazine. I also didn't have the materials called for. I came home, gathered some tabs, found some thread that I had laying around, grabbed up a hook and off I went. When I was done, and the only reason I was done was because I ran out of soda tabs, I had a bracelet and a belt for my 13 year old daughter which she promptly wore to school. I have a pic of the bracelet, but the belt is no longer mine. They were both were made the same way.
