Hi! I just found you guys today. I am a retired vet tech, now I get to be a housewife. We have 4 dogs, 1 cat, 3 fish tanks, 2 birds. I enjoy crocheting, sewing, counted cross stitch, and knitting. In the past 3 years I have had viral meningitis, 4 knee surgeries, back surgery, elbow surgery and 1 hip surgery - cant wait to get back to walking again!

Hello from dreary Tennessee today. I'm taking a break from work to look around for inspiration. I'll be back when I'm done to look around more. I'm retired/self-employed part-time and parent to three bottle-raised cats and two small dogs. Breast cancer survivor and klutz--looking forward to surgery to remove two of six screws in the ankle I broke being stupid back in January. Not an expert crocheter by any means, but I'm not afraid to try things, either. Except Tunisian. Haven't gotten up that much nerve yet.

I am a grandma and great grandma of many. I work all year round on things for them and their friends personal requests. The left over yarn from each project is made into hats, scarves, gloves, shawls, wraps and blankets. I have some personal physical challenges so I have more time than most to work on these kinds of things. I try to have all the Christmas items completed and wrapped by Thanksgiving so I can make the holiday dinners for a family of 25 and still pull of the 8 birthdays that happen between Halloween and New Years including my own.

Hi, I've crocheted since 1973 when I learned the skill at the student union while attending Iowa State University. I don't crochet as often as I used to, but I still love the craft.
