Hey guys! so I’m wanting to start a graphgan pattern and I’m looking into different stitches to use other than the standard C2C or single/double crochets. I’m interested in using the star stitch, but I’m not sure if it’ll translate the way I’m thinking it will? has anyone done any experimenting with graphgans and different stitches or am I being too ambitious in my wanting to change it up? thanks so much in advance! emily🖤

Hi Hello Everyone! for context, I am a beginner at crocheting. I have made granny squares, some amigurumi plushes, and a few star keychains! For my next feat, I want to make a blanket but the math and such confuses me. Ill start with what I have. I have 2 balls of Bernat Blanket yarn that are 220 yards each. I plan to make a striped blanket using the tightest stitch possible. so my questions are: -What is the best stitch to use? -How big can I make this blanket? -Are there any websites/ YouTube tutorials I can follow? (I've looked but it doesn't seem like many follow exactly what I'm trying to do) To add, I can not read crochet patterns so most of what I've made has been following YouTube tutorials. Any help is appreciated thank you for reading <3

Hello, I am sort of new at this (crocheting) learned it some 20+ years ago and now I am finally picking up a hook. I would like to do some sort of pattern for a toddler blanket but I have no clue what I am really doing. My only major project I have done is a heavy blanket for my sister I can do straight up rows but I want to learn corner to corner and the braided half double stitch. . I really need to be taught how to do these - Hopefully I can find a mentor/friend/instructor to help me understand these stitches. Also want to make some friends too.

I am a VERY new crochet lover. I am crocheting just a flat single crochet project to use as a throw. For some reason after about 15 rows it starts to arch. I will end up with a rainbow.....help!

I am very new to crocheting but I am making a baby blanket. I am doing an striped Alpine stitch with Caron simply soft yarn. My problem or question is when I switch colors the back side has an obvious dash like moris code - - - -is this how it should be? My colors are gray and white so it really stands out.. I would greatly appreciate any help.

Hello and thank you for your help! I am almost done with a crocheted sweater. I am now starting the sleeves but I’m stuck. I’m trying to decide if I should work the sleeves from the inside or from the outside (right side out). The pattern does not specify. The stitches that create the sleeve have you making your stitch in the back loop only of the row before. So, when doing this is would create a ridge on the underside and a smooth or flat finish on the side you see while building the sleeve. I’ve zoomed in on a picture of the pattern where the model is wearing the sweater, so it is “right side out.” It looks like there are ridges on the sleeves of the exposed side. Which would mean I should be creating the sleeve from the inside and then turn it right sound out when done. But I’m doubting myself! Will someone look at this picture and give me your opinion? I’d be so grateful!
