  1. Hi! I'm currently making a blanket, and have a handful of granny squares a fellow crocheter gave me for it. The problem is that some of them are the traditional, open type, and some are the more closed type (if this all makes sense). I was connecting some of the open ones with a border that matches the stitches. I got it from a video and it works really well, since I like having borders on my squares. But the other ones are just sitting there. Is there some way to connect one type to the other? I don't want to waste them, since they're really pretty.
  2. Good Day I am translating this shawl into a pattern. I have gotten through the first two rows (from the inside out) but can't identify what the pattern is for the bottom two petals of the flower. I would love your help with this The part that is unclear to me is how the petals attach to the row below.....
  3. Here's a picture of the granny square pillow I made! I started it in the spring, then I put it away for a while. I finally took it out again and finished it two days ago. It was pretty simple to make, and my mom and sister love the way it looks in our family room!
  4. After almost two years of crocheting, I finally learned how to make a granny square last night! So far, I've made three 8" granny squares and a few other sizes. This one is made with acrylic yarns.
