(12hdc) Notes: You will be working with both CB and CC connected, but one at a time. When not working with CB or CC just drop color not in use until indicated to pick it back up through color change. The yarn will travel up the wrongside/inside of your hat. How I Carry Yarn up thru hat: Holding unused/dropped yarn (CB) behind st your going into next (or indicated) insert hook in st so hook is underneath strand of unused/dropped yarn, yarnover with current yarn (yarn in use, CC), pull up loop with current yarn(CC), pull thru loop on hook, yarn over with with current yarn your using and ch1 working over strand of dropped yarn (CB), pull/put dropped yarn off to side of workaway from direction your crocheting in, with current yarn (CC) work Rnd or st in same st as joining like you normally would. Continue on adjusting to color changes. Repeat this when joining to help tack down/ hide the strands of yarn when carrying the yarn up on the wrongside/inside of hat. I like doing this because its alot less cutting and joing yarn, and less ends to weave in. Rnd 20: With CC ch1, 1 hdc in same st as joining, 1 hdc in each of the next 4 sts, 2 hdc in next st, 1 hdc in each of the next 5 sts, 1 hdc in next, 1 hdc in same st color changing to CB, join with slst to first hdc.
