  16. I've added a new pattern set to my freebies page on my website - this is a set of 3 different designs to make cozies for soda or beer cans. They take worsted weight cotton yarn and all are easy. One is made in the round and the other two are crocheted flat and then seamed. One has a bottom and the other 2 do not - but there are instructions on how to add a bottom to any of them if you want. I hope you enjoy using the patterns. :-) Soda Can Cozies pattern
  17. Hi! I usually crochet for Warming Families, but a few years back, we got involved with another worthwhile charity on the side, a shelter for orphaned children. We are making clothing for them and toys. That was how my line of Funmigurumi toys got started, and it still fund-raises for very worhty causes, while the originals go to the orphans we help. If you crochet for a children's hospital, a hospice with children, a children's shelter, an orphanage or any other children's charity and would like truly cute, easy as pie and lovable toys for them, toys the children will really LOVE (that is the reaction we have gotten so far), then go to my Funmigurumi blog and start making them! The patterns are absolutely FREE for charity and personal use. You will find the URL in my signature. Blessings! Clotilde

    FREE Patterns For Charity

I would like to let all of you know that I have two blogs bursting at the seams with FREE patterns that you can use for charity purposes. One is full of toys for children and the other one has mostly scarves and some capelets for women. I have found that some crocheters who work for charity have found me and have expressed joy at the discovery, because it has saved them time in searching for free available patterns. So if you do Amigurumi for little ones in need or like to make scarves, take a look at these sites, they are there in a special sense for charity! I like to give back some of the blessings I receive. God bless! Clotilde P.S. You will find my sites in my signature.
