This was one of my favourite projects from last year! A friend asked me to make her some dragon scale gloves with a matching scarf; I couldn't find a free pattern at the time so I made a practice set with cheap yarn before moving onto the variegated stuff. The scarf is longer and thinner than I would normally make but thats just how she wanted it I'm really happy with how they turned out

Help I don't understand this pattern. I found it on the internet. I tried contacting yarnovations for help. I have attached a pic of the pattern. I have looked at different tutorials and most start with a ring. I'm not understanding where the ring is coming from in this pattern. http://www.yarnovations.com/mason-jar-soap-dispenser-with-crochet-owl-cozy/

A bunch of necklaces that I designed and have been trying to sell. These I thought would also be pretty embellished with little decrative pins. I thought about crocheting little flowers attached to pin backings for these. This one I want to embellish with watch gears and glass pearl beads to make it more "Steampunk-ish" I thought these would also look nice with small charms/pendants hanging from the center petals.

Here's a great pattern for a crocodile stitch pillow: http://knitabitcrochetaway.blogspot.com/2013/07/pattern-crocodile-stitch-pillow.html It comes out with nice ruffles and is much easier to make than it looks.

Leaf, Flame, Petal, is what this stitch evokes for me. These are fast and lovely projects, a bit yarn intensive, but their sculptural effect is well worth it. Jewelry meets warmth in this neck adornment. Leaves and petals cluster and frame your neck. This pattern is adaptable and offers options for reconfiguration as well as matching cuffs. http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/petal-leaf-collar-and-cuffs Tools and Materials I/ 5.5 Crochet hook, Yarn needle G/4.5 mm for button optional 2.5 - 3 oz /70.9 - 80g worsted weight yarn (0.5 oz/14.2 g for cuffs) Pattern Level: Intermediate 20 - 23” L x 3- 4.5” H 50.8 cm- 58.4cm x 7.6cm- 11.4cm Cuffs 10-12”L x 2-3”H 25.4cm -30.5cm x 5 - 7.6 cm Gauge: (ww) 7 rows/11dc = 4”/10.2cm
