  1. Fallen angel

    Starting September 1st

ohhh boy I can hardly wait!!! Tomorrow I am hosting the year long Granny Stripe Temperature Blanket. I have never made one and I wanted my blanket to be nice and comfortable. These are the colors I chose for different temp's. Holly Berry Real Teal Turqua Aruba Sea Lilac Violet Mango Spring Green Pretty N Pink Cherry Red Pumpkin Blue Hawaii Lavender Hot Pink Light Raspberry Chianti As you can see I LOVE lots of bright and cheerful colors, lol. If anyone would want to join in, feel free to join, the link is in my signature. We also have other smaller projects, Since the Temperature Blanket is year long, I was thinking of having a holiday CAL starting October 1st. I already have Halloween projects listed, of course you do not have to do all of them, whichever ones you feel comfortable to do. But even if you don't want to join the group, I will be posting progress pictures of the blanket as it comes along. Any and all advice or comments are welcome. I love this community BTW this is a close up of the stitches used in the Granny Stripe Pattern. Hugs, Kim
  2. I've been dreaming to design a stained glass mandala since long ago. And my dream has come true. This double layered mandala potholder is crocheted in overlay crochet technique with elements of tapestry crochet. When not used in the kitchen it can be hung on a wall. And if you don't crochet a bottom part for this potholder it can serve as a decoration for a table or a nice appliqué for your old (or new) pillow cover. This easy to follow pattern (16 pages) is written for one size It contains step by step full written instructions in English using standard crochet abbreviations and US terms (stitch guide is given in the pattern). It also contains lots of pictures explaining all the tricky and difficult places. Crochet level: Intermediate (front post stitches are used in this pattern and some rounds are crocheted with yarns of two colors at the same time). http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/stained-glass-mandala-potholder
  3. Thankyou so much everyone for the lovely comments on my first pattern share, Easter Egg Mandalas for bunting I thought I would share this freeform cardigan today, I love freeform crochet as you can just go where the creative vibe takes you Start with a mandala and just go from there! How I made mine is on my blog here: http://setfreemygypsysoul.blogspot.co.uk/2016/03/free-freeform-crochet-pattern-sugar-skull-cardigan-tutorial.html
  4. Check out my latest creation. Done with 2 mm hook with crystal thread yarn imported from Mexico. It took me 3 months to make !
  5. These are delightfully fun to make, you can use a lot of colors, or two or three, very fun to do, they work up quickly, and before you know it, you are finished! and plus they are soooo useful in the colder weather too!! best of all, there are no ends to weave in, as you incorporate the longer ends you leave, into the fringe!! Yay! I have made four so far, the mostly blue one, is for a younger person, school age child, Im guessing, the two multi colored ones, are for adults, (women, Im sure, men don't do fringe, ha ha) and the grey and charcoal one is , yep, you guess it, MINE, lol Thanks for looking, I will be making more over the weeks before donation to shelter time rolls around, Hope you like them too!!
  6. I finished a small-ish round ripple for a donation to a NICU. I like the colorful rainbow appearance. I hope it makes someone happy.
  7. Happy to share my reversible scarf pattern with all of you today!! It's so much fun to make and easy too. And it ends up reversible!! Great for gifts http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/bevs-reversible-scarf HUGS!! Bev
