  1. This one would make a lovely embellishment for the front of a bag that is too plain for words! If you don't know what else to do to spruce it up, this braid will just make it look so much prettier! It is easy to make too. Here is where you will find the free tutorial: http://craftypursenalityshoppe.blogspot.com/2011/09/debras-braid.html
  2. Here's another freeby for you bag-making lovers! This braid can be used to embellish a simple bag or tote, to give it a fancier look or it can be used a striking strap as well for any bag or purse of your choice. You will find the FREE tutorial here: http://craftypursenalityshoppe.blogspot.com/2011/09/marlys-braid-or-purse-strap.html Enjoy! Clotilde
  3. This is a pretty and super easy purse strap that even a beginner braider can make a really fast! FREE tutorial here: http://craftypursenalityshoppe.blogspot.com/2011/10/betty-jos-braid.html
  4. I love to help crocheters turn the old into something new and pretty! Do you have a simple, favorite tote, bag of purse pattern that you can make with your eyes closed? Use Gladys Braid to spruce it up and give it a bit more zing and just turn it into something entirely new! You will find the FREE tutorial here: http://craftypursenalityshoppe.blogspot.com/2011/09/gladys-braid.html Just pull out of that tote you can make in a jiffy and add this braid to it in stunning, contrasting colors and you will have an eye popper! Clotilde
  5. If you make bags or totes often, there comes a time when you run out of things to do to them to make them look different! Why not use beautiful rope braids? They are fast and easy to make and can be sewn to the bag as an embellishment right before you finish putting it together, and different braids would make the same bag look different. If you woul like to learn embellish crochet rope braiding, please check out my ealier tutorials, but if you already know how to make the ropes, here is where you will find Adriana's Braid: http://craftypursenalityshoppe.blogspot.com/2011/08/adrianas-braid.html
