  1. I am looking for testers for my bowler hat in the following sizes: 0-3 / 3-6 / 6-12 months and Teen/Small Adult. Pattern is worked with worsted weight acrylic and a 5 mm (H-8) hook. I would like feedback (and pictures if possible) by the end of this weekend, August 11th. Compensation: free final copy of the pattern and one free pattern from my shop on Etsy. http://www.etsy.com/ca/shop/CharmedByEwe Thanks! Janaya
  2. Just added a new bow tie pattern in time for Easter Sunday http://www.crochetville.com/community/files/file/545-boy-tie-woven-stitch/ Let me know your thoughts. Thanks, Angela
  3. I've been sew busy working on some outfits for my grandchildren and a couple of little friends. The matching dresses are for the little friends, they spent this week in Disney World and their parents said they received lots of comments about the dresses. The white gown is for the littlest sister's dedication at church next month. The other outfits are for my grandson and granddaughter just because they like Disney soooo much. I don't think I posted the dinosaur/dragon costumes before but I'll apologize now just in case I did, these are what my grandkids wanted for Halloween, and I think they look pretty cute. Dedication gown Sister sets Dusty Crop Hopper Jake and the Neverland Pirates Minnie Mouse Elsa inspired front & back Dinosaur/dragon front views of both and the side view of one but they're the same just different colors. Sorry these are side ways but I don't know how to turn them. (they're the right way on my computer just not here)
  4. My crocheting has been a little slow lately but I've been keeping busy in my sewing room. My grandkids picked out the fabrics and told me what they wanted made with them. Except for the My Little Pony outfit which my granddaughter knew nothing about until it was finished, she was squealing soooooo loud and jumping around when she saw it that I think the neighbors might have heard her. My grandson insisted on putting on the jacket right away, the air conditioner was set at a comfortable 76 degrees but he loves his jackets. Thanks for looking. Sorry for the sideways pictures, I don't know why they are like that and I don't know how to fix it.
  5. My son wanted a spiderman web blanket but he couldn't decide if he liked only blue and red, so we changed it a little using a multicolored yarn instead. I got the pattern from Ravelry, it is originally called Superhero dream catcher afghan by Gail E and Wendy G Gamble-Hogsten. It was really fun working on this with my son
  6. OPEN: Launchable Grenade (toy) Pattern Description: This unique toy hand grenade contains a retractable cord. Pull it back and let it fly! Hang it up in the office or on the rearview mirror. It’s fun anywhere you might want to let off a little steam, all in good fun. The grenade is an unusual Amigurumi, because it’s made with fingering weight yarn. This creates a tight weave and a finer look. Pattern Style: written Pattern Photo: Skill Level: Intermediate Yarn/Material/Tools Required: supplied by tester · Deborah Norville Serenity Sock yarn, or any fingering weight yarn, 1 ball should make 3 grenades · #1 steel Hook/ B/ 2.25mm · 1 retractable badge reel. Sample used is from Hobby Lobby and is 1 1/2” in diameter. · Small amount of acrylic stuffing Tester Information Number of Testers Needed: 2-3 Approximate Time Required to Complete Project: 5 hours Deadline: December 8, 2013 Tester Experience : Testers should be familiar with post stitches and working double crochet in the round Tester Responsibilities: Testers agree to provide estimates for time and yardage and feedback regarding errors and needed clarification. Any Special Software Requirements: Pattern will be provided in pdf format Compensation Testers will be given a free copy of the final pattern and my everlasting thanks.

  8. I'm looking for at least three people to test my loafer pattern for boys and girls. This is a written pattern that is worked with 2 strands of RH Soft Touch held together but you can use whatever yarn you like for testing. Skill level is Easy. Requires 5.5mm or 6mm crochet hook, depending on which size is made and 5/8" buttons for the straps. Turn around time of one week is preferred. I would like the three larger sizes tested and feedback on the overall shape and symmetry of the finished shoe, but all feedback is welcomed. Would also love to see pictures of finished items. Compensation is a free copy of final pattern.
  9. I've just released a pattern for a cozy boys' pullover in sizes 2-12. Come check it out! It's available both on my website and through Ravelry.
  10. I've just released the pattern for my baby peacoat: It's something a little different for boys. You can find the pattern here, I hope you like it! (Well, darn it, I don't know why the picture isn't working.)
