  1. Hello! I'm Yu Chi. I am from Taiwan, 23 years old. I will be flying to Australia, Brisbane in March 2016 and living there on a working holiday visa. I would be very happy to meet new friends. But I wouldn't mind making new friends from outside of Australia, too! I love editing/colouring videos accompanied by some lovely ambient music and immersed in my own little world at a quiet night, blog designing, photography and seeing movies as I am free and more hobbies...etc On a side notes, I have been helping my mother's hand-knitting business. She enjoy knitting outfits, hats, gown, or skirts...etc for barbie's. After, I created http://pinkishmomcraftyhouse.jimdo.com/ in order to have people to buy or appreciate it. I could spend whole day designing the website. Those are some examples of her works below... I am very interested in making new friends. I am a shy person with an optimistic & curious mind AND I am not a friend collector. I simply interested in meaningful conversation. Hopefully I could make some friends here.

  3. Hello to all who read this. alittle about me and my love of crochet. Born in alaska in 1968 to a military family, I was to say the least a hyper child, where oh where was ridalin. At the very pinnicle of my hyperactivity my Nana could no longer stand having me buzzing around her home like a bull in a china shop. While she was knitting one day I asked her to teach me and she happily handed me my first set of mint green plastic warped size 8 needles and a ball of red heart super saver aqnd i was off and running, while remaining seated.I was quite happy. Then in the 6th grade i found finger crochet with a little girl down the stree, living in england at the time, mom noticing string tied to the legs of her coffee table, never said i was a neat freak heee hee, she gave me my first size g aluminum hook and some super saver yarn and i was off.i then found stitchery, plastic canvas, and counted cross. All from female friends who i hung out with. Mooooooving forward in time I am now 40 years old and My mother has just been diagnosed with breast cancer and is scheduled for a full radicall mastectomy.Keeping her spirits up was primary goal, and with Nana having passed a few years back and my sister and brother living elsewhere i took up the mantle of best friend and broke into her stash grabbed Nana's knitting needles and ,guess what, a skien of Red Heart Super Saver in navy blue, and we knitted and laughed and I was off and running . When my 27 year career as a hairdresser came to a scetching halt and I had to go on disability find a sword to best the monster that was depression and time.that sword came to me in the guise of a brand new set of bamboo knitting needles and crochet hooks and a set of steel hooks. and with the help of my good friend the Internet I have found some new passions 1. I no longer knit as much due to arthritis in my shoulder and parkinsons type spasms in my arms. So i have started crocheting about 8 hrs a day(it keeps the tremors at bay) 2. I have become a pattern junkie.Any patterns the older the better. 3.I have a great passion for crocheted barbie gowns especially the vintage elaborate gowns (looking for the gowns Barbara Striesand wore in "Hello Dolly" hint hint) we are now up to date still single and crocheting as much as possible still twitching and happyily living in San Antonio Texas. I am always looking to chat with new people its the hairdresser in me and the fact that I am a Gemini Thank you for your Time , Patience , and curiosity. friend to the world, JIMMIE
  4. Hi, I'm Holly and I make crochet patterns for dolls: 5" babies, 7-8" child dolls, 11-12" fashion dolls, 12-14" child dolls, 15-16" fashion dolls, 15" baby dolls, 18" child dolls, and 22" fashion dolls. Some of the dolls I've made clothes for are Ellery by Kish, Riley by Kish (along with similar size 8" Betsy McCall, Ginny, mini American Girl, and the dollhouse size Madeline), Barbie (as well as Fashion Royalty, Poppy Parker, and Silkstone Barbie), Little Darlings by Dianna Effner (along with similar size Bitty Bethany by Kish, Ann Estelle by Tonner, and Patsy by Tonner), the 14" dolls by Kish (such as Song, Raven, and Wren), Tyler by Tonner (and similar size Gene, Alex by Madame Alexander, DeeAnna Denton by Tonner, and Princess Diana by Franklin Mint), Bitty Baby (as well as Baby Alive and Cabbage Patch), American Girl (as well as Tolly Tot and Bernat), and the 22" American Model by Tonner. If you are looking for patterns for any of these dolls, check out my Craftsy store: http://www.craftsy.com/user/488549/pattern-store Thanks!
  5. Here is my free crochet pattern for a Barbie little black dress and handbag. I crocheted this with a G hook with some light fingering scrap yarn I had. I also crocheted a lining under the skirt part of the dress.
  6. Sharing my free Barbie baby doll top pattern. I added a pair of bloomers to make this a baby doll PJ set. This quick little top could be used along with a skirt or pants to make different outfits for Barbie too.
  7. Here is a fashion doll bloomers pattern I came up with that has no snaps or elastic and is very quick to crochet. It's nothing fancy and works great to cover a doll's bottom under a dress. These bloomers or panties work great as a cover under a dress especially if it has a more open stitch pattern. I have free pattern details for a Barbie doll and for the larger 14-inch tall fashion doll.
