  1. Here are some new hats I crocheted. I call them double post baby hats. It is just the basic baby hat but with a double post for the ribbing. Here is a free pattern link if anyone wants to crochet the hat pattern. These went to my local hospital's nursery last week along with a few other hats I crocheted.

  4. When I found out the husband's nephew's fiancée was expecting, I told her when I found out what sex they were having that I wanted to make a baby blanket for her. I love making blankets for others and turning pretty yarn into something gorgeous. I decided to go for a sunburst granny square pattern and followed Sarah-Jayne's (Bella Coco) Pom Pom Edging tutorial on YouTube for the border. I also made it in her favourite shade of purple too! At the end I still had one ball of purple and one ball of beige left, so I decided to try Valerie's First Birthday Crochet Dress pattern a go and I think it turned out fab! Which is even more a bonus that that the Nephew's Bride to Be loves it too! I'd love to know what you all think!

  6. Hello lovelies I've been trawling Pinterest, esty, etc. looking for a doll pattern for my 1yo niece. They're all so spindly looking with tiny little limbs. Does anyone know where I can find a doll pattern in a similar shape to the Disney soft dolls like the Moana I've attached, something that will stand up to being loved by a toddler? 😅

  11. Hi! I am looking for a 2D motif pattern of a pineapple fruit (not a pineapple stitch!) that I can crochet into a recurring pattern as a colour change on a baby blanket. The babys mum love pineapples and I'm struggling to find anything that isn't pineapple stitch, which as someone who doesn't crochet she probably wont get the reference. Any ideas would be massively appreciated thank you! Georgia

  19. I made this for a friend in work who's just given birth to a beautiful baby boy. It was worked in DK yarn and was super quick to make - just two evenings. I designed the sack part myself - it was worked in treble stitch (UK terms) in the round, and the hat with antenna was borrowed from a pattern I found on Pinterest. I am hoping to write the pattern down at a point so when I do I'll post it. I'll also include the link to the hat.
