  3. When I found out the husband's nephew's fiancรฉe was expecting, I told her when I found out what sex they were having that I wanted to make a baby blanket for her. I love making blankets for others and turning pretty yarn into something gorgeous. I decided to go for a sunburst granny square pattern and followed Sarah-Jayne's (Bella Coco) Pom Pom Edging tutorial on YouTube for the border. I also made it in her favourite shade of purple too! At the end I still had one ball of purple and one ball of beige left, so I decided to try Valerie's First Birthday Crochet Dress pattern a go and I think it turned out fab! Which is even more a bonus that that the Nephew's Bride to Be loves it too! I'd love to know what you all think!

    Large doll pattern

Hello lovelies I've been trawling Pinterest, esty, etc. looking for a doll pattern for my 1yo niece. They're all so spindly looking with tiny little limbs. Does anyone know where I can find a doll pattern in a similar shape to the Disney soft dolls like the Moana I've attached, something that will stand up to being loved by a toddler? ๐Ÿ˜…

    Ribbed Newborn Hats

I tried a new ribbed baby hat pattern from Beverly Qualheim. I chained just 30 sts to start to get a newborn sized hat. My hats came out 6.5 inches long flat by 10โ€ cir. Here is the link to the free baby hat pattern. It was a fun pattern that is worked side to side and gathered at the top. .

    2D Pineapple Pattern?

Hi! I am looking for a 2D motif pattern of a pineapple fruit (not a pineapple stitch!) that I can crochet into a recurring pattern as a colour change on a baby blanket. The babys mum love pineapples and I'm struggling to find anything that isn't pineapple stitch, which as someone who doesn't crochet she probably wont get the reference. Any ideas would be massively appreciated thank you! Georgia
  11. In a croche facebook group, which I am part of, I saw this beautiful blanket for baby, I found an excellent gift to make and give to a newborn. I'll leave the link here for you to see how beautiful it is. https://br.pinterest.com/pin/723320390123983006/

    Snuggle Sack & Beanie Hat

I made this for a friend in work who's just given birth to a beautiful baby boy. It was worked in DK yarn and was super quick to make - just two evenings. I designed the sack part myself - it was worked in treble stitch (UK terms) in the round, and the hat with antenna was borrowed from a pattern I found on Pinterest. I am hoping to write the pattern down at a point so when I do I'll post it. I'll also include the link to the hat.

    Camo Baby Set

Here is a camo baby set I crocheted for a friend's baby boy due in June. She and her husband just love camo stuff so I figured I do this set in all camo for the new baby. The booties were made using the cuffed sock booties pattern and the vest was crocheted using the V-neck baby vest pattern. I used Red Heart 971 Camo yarn.
