  2. Hey guys, I'm super new to crocheting and I recently picked up some Bernat Satin yarn (I thought it was soft and the colors were pretty), without knowing that different types of yarns are better for making different things. I am just wondering what kids of things I CAN make with this specific yarn? Thanks!
  3. I made these for an 8 cubby Ikea Expedit shelving unit. Here is my blog post about finishing the 8th basket, and here is a group photo:
  4. Pattern: Hexagon Boot Slippers by Priscilla Hewitt Yarn: Red Heart Soft and Caron Simply Soft Hook: G I eyed that pattern a month or so ago and just finished making a pair. The hexagons ar fun, making the sole(yawn) and sewing it all...well nice break after making the soles. bwg I think the final outcome is eye pleasing.
  5. Pattern: Buttoned-Cuff Boots by Darla Sims Kit: Mary Maxim. Includes 4 skeins(double yarn pattern) of MM's Best Value and the booklet from Annie's Attic, _A Dozen Slippers_. (pattern also available in Crochet! Fall 2010) Hook: J and K in the cuff. (I'm a tight crocheter) Just have to add my silver buttons.
