I am going to start making YouTube tutorials and was wondering about crocheting FREE patterns on my channel. Obviously you cannot make a tutorial from a paid pattern but are there any restrictions or is there anything I can or cannot do when making a tutorial from something else's FREE pattern? I will post a link to the original written pattern so the creator will get the credit, of course. Other people make tutorials from Red Heart or Lion Brand patterns for example, I just don't want to get in trouble before I even get started! Lol

I'd love to have a group that would film and upload to youtube, once maybe twice a month to update everyone in the group (and any other followers they might get along the way) on their projects and we'd get to see the projects too! I already have a youtube channel and plan on filming said video tonight.

Hi all! I'm currently writing up a quick start guide for anyone who wishes to learn crochet linking to all the resources I found useful when I was teaching myself. I learned primarily from Bella Coco (youtube), Wiki how and Craftsy. I'd love to to hear all your favourite online resources for beginners so I can make this a really useful hub for anyone learning how to crochet. Where did you first learn the basics? Who are favourite youtubers and bloggers? Are there any books or other physical resource that have really helped you out? Thanks!

Hi All I was just going to reffer you to one of my favorite youtube channels. She does lots of crocheting videos showing how to crochet different things. I really enjoy doing her crocheted lovies or security blankets. Here is a link to one. She is very thorough and walks you through everything. I highly reccommend her to anyone including begginers. Here is a link to her channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/yolandasotolopez?feature=watch Woohoo!!! Just keep crocheting!!!!
