It is quite easy and fast to make. Here is where you will find the free pattern: http://www.craftybegonia.blogspot.com/2014/05/laurie.html#.U4qdWvldWjQ Enjoy! Clotilde

  6. Hi Everyone! I know that those of you who are crocheting gifts and have long lists are almost down to the wire now that we are in December! 7. Hi Everyone! I designed Anaelle thinking about Advanced beginners who feel left out of most patterns since they have not reached the level in which they can tackle them. I have read many a complaint about the fact that they are stuck with unattractive projects, basically composed of sc, hdc or dc sts and nothing more, so I decided to make a series of short scarves that would incorporate some simple laces and sts already familiar to an Advanced beginner but still giving them a feminine, lovely result they can wear or give away as a gift with joy. An Advanced crocheter looking for easy, pretty patterns that are quick, yarn-economic and lovely, can take advantage of this series for end-of-the year charity projects and for gift-giving. Also, crocheting guys could very well give these to mom, sis or his lovely lady and feel good about their crocheting skills, even if they are at an advanced newbie level. Here is where you will find Anaelle: http://craftybegonia.blogspot.com/2013/10/anaelle.html#.Ung-nnDo6tM Enjoy! Clotilde
  8. Hi Everyone! I have often run into beginner crocheters who talked about not finding enough pretty patterns for their skill level. Dannette is a very simple scarflet to make, yet effective enough to make the wearer feel good about her work, and if she gives it as a gift, she will feel satisfied that the receiver will be happy with it! It is a breeze to make for an advanced crocheter and it's an ideal quick gift or charity project. I made it in a rich green, but you can use your favorite color. You will find the FREE pattern here: http://craftybegonia.blogspot.com/2013/08/dannette.html

  11. Hi Everyone! I'd like to share Sheeper's with you. When I made Woolly, people fell in love with her right away, but she was so obviously a girl, that I decided then, to make a male version of her, but did not have the time till now. Sheepers is different though, he's kind of her little brother, because I made him in a smaller scale, ideal for those of you who love little Amis, and even more comfortable for little baby and toddler arms to hold. Here is where you will find the free pattern to make him: http://funmigurumiandkidsstuff.blogspot.com/2013/06/sheeppers-funmigurumi-lamb-rattle.html#.Ubec3-dJ5r0 Enjoy! Clotilde

  16. For those of you who love to make bags and would like to embellish them with an easy yet fancy-looking frog closure. This is one of the easiest I've ever made, yet it is really pretty. If you've never tried to make one, or been intimidated by the complex look of them (they are really easy once you get the hang of how to make the cord,) try this one! Of course you can adapt it to jackets, cardigans and other types of winter tops, even as a closure for wraps, but it just look super cute in purses! 19. Hi Everyone! I'd like to share a free pattern with those of you who are lovers of Funmigurumi and with those who are looking for a sweet little lamb pattern. This toy would be an ideal gift for a baby shower, especially if you pair it with a cute blanket or a precious garment for a baby. It would also be a great gift for any child. Despite her name, Woolly is a girl, but if you want her to be a boy, you only have to change her pink areas to light blue and you're set! 20. Hi Everyone! We are continuing the saga of the funny and cute frogs from the Chocolate Ponds of Funmigurumiland. So far, we had been visited by boys. This is our first little lady. I was looking forward to the change, especially after they told me she was a girly girl. It has been said about her that she's a bom bom addict, so be ready for at least a couple of yarn chocolates if you make her! Leafy is easy and tons of fun to make. If you make some to donate to a children's charity or for your local hospital as well, I will love you forever! You will find the free pattern here: http://funmigurumiandkidsstuff.blogspot.com/2013/03/funmigurumi-cutely-frogs-leafy-sleek.html#.UT-445gy6So

  24. I've been away from the forum a bit and after a very nice orientation email from Amy I'm venturing to make my new post in the "new" Crochetville. (Must say it's looking good!) So, bear with me. This is an extremely easy and fast scarflet, and it is really lovely when it's done. If you have a birthday coming up of someone who loves purple, this is a good one! It would also make a pretty and encouraging charity donation. Sorry about the fact that it does not have a photo, I don't know how to add a photo on the new forum yet. You will find the free pattern here: http://craftybegonia.blogspot.com/2013/01/mountain-orchid.html Enjoy! Clotilde
