  1. OMG, Sandy, you did it! That's it!! I knew it looked familiar, but man, you crochet something in a different color scheme and it totally changes the look. The last two rows on the orange one are different from the pattern, but that's ok. I can come up with something close if not exactly. The picture can be blown up quite large. Again, thank you so much for looking for me. Have a wonderful and safe 4th of July! Debie
  2. Ooooo, thanks for that tid bit!. I have a lot of those magazines. It seems I've seen it before but I thought maybe it was from one of the foreign sites and maybe not in orange and black. I will start going through what I have. Thanks! Debie
  3. Hi all! I'm not certain if this is actually a Halloween pattern or if it was crocheted in Halloween colors. Either way, I would love to make it! I just need to know if anyone knows what publication I can find it in. I can usually track it down from there. Any help is always greatly appreciated!! Have a wonderful and safe 4th of July! Debie
  4. No luck when I asked the person who made it. She said there was a pattern at one time, but that was a while ago and now she just makes them from memory and from an existing doily. At least I know it was made from a pattern, so I have hope that one day I will just run across it!
  5. Hi all! I saw a beautiful doily on the net. The pattern looks familiar to me but I can't seem to find it in my stash. If anyone knows the name or publication of this pattern, I surely would appreciate knowing! Thanks to all for checking in to this for me. Have a wonderful weekend, Debie
  6. Hi all! I was able to locate the publication that this pattern came from. It is from a magazine called Crochet Celebrations. The editor is the same as Crochet World, I guess. It's from the year 1990, from the Winter edition I would imagine. If anyone has this pattern and is willing to part with it, I would like to know as I would be interested in purchasing it. Thanks so much! Debie
  7. Hi, I'm looking for this pattern. I have no idea what publication it came from. I'm thinking a hardcover book?? Any help in locating the publication this pattern came from would be greatly appreciated! Thanks and have a super weekend! Debie
  8. They are all just beautiful! Love the third one with the two colors. I really like the Polish magazines as well. I have a lot and will always continue to look for more. Thanks for sharing!
  9. Is the border varigated? It looks like the flowers pick up the colors in the border. What a beauty!
  10. Hi all, Almost done with my annual red, white and blue doily binge. I discovered that I am absolutely in love with Aunt Lydia's Chambray size 10 thread. and ya know what? It's discontinued! I've looked everywhere and can't find it (unless you pay a fortune for it!). I wrote the Coats company to let them know that I'm disappointed about the color loss. Another color I adore is Melon (not as bright as Pumpkin). Ya, that one is getting scarce too. I looked up a local yarn store that closed shop locally but went to on-line sales. I could find ANYTHING from her craft store. Yep, the on-line store is now gone too. What the heck?! Anyhoo, just a vent. Hope everyone has a wonderful 4th of July weekend. Be safe!! Debie
  11. I was looking in to making a name filet crochet doily for family this Christmas and came across a website that will chart the words for you in a celtic font. Our name is Irish so this worked out slick! It will take words or phrases and put them on a printable chart for either filet or cross-stitch. All you would need to do is pick out your own border. I can't wait to get started! Debie http://www.celticxstitch.ie/cgi-bin/stitches.cgi

  13. Thanks to all who checked on this for me. I was able to find out that the pattern is in Magic Crochet issue #94, February 1995. Have a wonderful week! Debie
  14. Hi all! I saw this pattern today. I would love to make it myself and I know I've seen it somewhere before. If anyone knows what book this pattern is in, I surely would love to know. Thanks so much! Debie
  15. Hi! I am looking for a doily that I guess was in an old McCall's magazine. I found it on eBay and that's all the seller could tell me about it. If anyone knows which magazine this appeared in, I would really appeciate knowing. Thanks so much for checking all your stashes!! Debie
