  1. Thanks everyone! The pattern I used was from Caron, I made a few changes though, I did 5 rows of the pattern then 5 rows of single crochet just to give the blanket a little more texture. then for the border i think I did 3 rows single crochet in blue then 3 in white then reverse single crochet in the blue. Here is the pattern: http://www.caron.com/projects/op/op_one_skein_baby_blanket.html
  2. Here is a baby afghan I made for a friend. I love the way it turned out! Close up of stitches: All ready to go:
  3. This is my mermaid tears bag, I love it and apparently so did my sister. She begged me for it so it now belongs to her! Lol. So I'm off to make another one, maybe next on in black and gold, steeler colors

    Comfort pack

Hi, Thanks for all the good comments! I used mine this morning for my back... I used about 2 and 1/2 cups of rice. with the tea bags it smelled pretty good, you can still smell the rice, just a little though.

    Tote bag

Here is a tote bag that I made for my sister's friend at work, she wanted a small bag to carry a few diapers and tihings in. I used good ol' red heart in raspberry ( i think) and bernat softee chunky in brown. I also just made up the pattern as I went along. "] CLICKABLE
  6. Here is my comfort pack from crochet me pattern here:http://crochetme.com/patterns/comfort-pack I LOVE this... couldn't find flax seeds so I had to use rice, but I also added a few herbal tea bags to the rice so that it will smell nice. I used a little under 2 balls of peaches n cream yarn in the color earthtone and the pattern is really easy! Thanks for looking "] CLICKABLE
  7. Can I join too?? I just tought myself to knit about two weeks ago and I really like it! Right now I am making a preemie blanket, I don't know what I'm going to do with it yet, maybe donate it... It isn't anything great, just garter stitch, but I really like the way it's turning out. I'll post a picture later. I would LOVE to learn how to make socks, so if we have a CAL for those count me in I'm just a bit afraid:scared of the double pointed needles!!!
  8. No they aren't slippery at all, I think that the texture on the bottom of the slipper helps out!
  9. Thank you for the GREAT pattern Here are my new slippers:http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?p=948216#post948216
  10. Here are my new slippers! They are made from this pattern:http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=57273 I used caron simply soft in the heather colors. I also added a few rows here and there ( I couldn't get the gauge right ) I also added a ribbon so that I could tie them tight. CLICKABLE
  11. As much as I hate to sew... I would say to line the back with maybe a care bear fabric
  12. Here is another tote bag, this one is for my mom. It's made with Bernat softee chunky twists yarn. This is the 2nd bag I've made with this pattern and I still have one more to go for my cousin, they work up fast... I had this one done in about 2 days, it's just the lining part that I HATE!!!! Clicky Pics Closeup of stitches
  13. I also have been eyeing up that pattern. I love, love, love the border!!
