  1. Thank you. I've been crocheting since I was 4, I am now 42. Taught myself from a book mother gave me, The Better Homes and Gardens Book of Needlecraft, she showed. Me how to start, and few of the basic stitches so I could get how it worked, then gave me the book, which I still have. I've recently joined Helen's Hookaholics on Facebook and found her amazing patterns, learned a lot about the different stitches and stitch placement from her group, I'm looking forward to what I can learn from this group.
