    Pattern

Really???? I'm amazed. How on earth did you find it seeing as it a Russian pattern that was some detective work for real, well done. Yes I knew it was knit but thought I could maybe do the pattern in squares turned on their points making a ◇ shape and smaller ones for the neck line, nothing beats a try.

Yes I know I saw this post after already doing this one, we'll just stick to the other one so no need to replied to this one Granny Squares.
  3. And hello to you in Texas Pinkglitter you are dazzling.
  4. Lilmo

    How to????

Surely the smaller squares around neckline can be done as a square turned shape of a diamond ◇ and all the rest made bigger and just joined together, think I might give that a go.

    How to????

Thank you tremendously Granny Squares, I knew it was knit but like you suggested I have transferred them and just put my own pattern to them, I dont think I can entertain doing knitting as I've got myself hooked (pun) with crochet these past few years. Thank you for trying to find another one for me, I am a member of Ravelry and Craftsy and Loveknitting/crochet is where I get a my wool from. I'll have a look myself on them, it's awful when you see a pattern you really wanna make and cant get hold of the pattern it's happened before to me.

    How to????

Now I wouldn't do it this short I'm not the right shape or age for that length but sure that's easily remedied. Anyone recognise it please? Or where I might get the pattern?

    How to????

I have this gorgeous picture I printed out but there wasn't a pattern with it that I could buy, i tried to put the picture on here but don't know how to do that, to see if anyone knows it or where i could buy it, any help as how to put the picture on would be gratefully appreciated, thank you.
  10. Thank you so much for your welcome cshort I feel a part of you all thanks to yourself 🤗 hugs
  11. Thank you both for getting back, much appreciated especially all the wisdom from Granny Squares. I took 2 Solpodol 30/500 prescribed by my doc for my lower back pain but they dont touch it but must say they helped the shoulder blade pain. I am well used to pain like yourself from RLS, Neuralgia, several herniated low back discs, Stenosis, Bursitis, pain is my constant company. So this shoulder blade one is wee buns compared to all the other, I just wanted to confirm it was from doing the crochet which obviously it is. I tend to sit with my legs up on sofa when I crochet its compfy but I think that's contributing to this new pain, bad posture, so gonna sit right and see if that helps, but thank you for your advice.
  12. Regular breaks are the way to go and surprisingly enough I do, hook down when my favourite tv progs are on then theres cuppas, I mind years ago I knit one of those Starsky and Hutch long cardigan that Starsky wore always, I constantly kept my needles cracking for a solid 3 weeks no let up and ended up with the biggest migraine ever I was prone to them but that one was monstrous but hubby loved the cardigan, I still have that pattern approx over 35years ago that was. So I know just how endless these needles and hooks can do.
  13. Hello everyone I'm Maureen under Lilmo I've been crocheting over 20 years well following patterns but long before that with Granny's teaching. I have knit from primary school and I machine sew, but crochet is my main love. I'm married with 4 of a family 9 Grandkids 1 Gt Grandson just born. I live in Belfast Northern Ireland all my life bar a year in Germany as hubby was in armed forces when we met. So he had to resign to living here as I'm a real home bird. I look forward to asking questions here when I run into diff in a pattern but at minute I've shoulder blade pain which I think it down to everyday crochet over many months it's become an addiction of late. Looking forward to making new friends all around the world on her. Lordbless you.
  14. I'm an avid crocheter and have been doing it everyday for a few hours overall very long period of time lately perhaps a year even, just these past few days I've developed pain in my right shoulder blade I've had cronic lower back pain for many years with quite a few discs affected have had radiofrequency twice and steroid injection nothing helps, but I really dont think this shoulder blade pain stems from do you think it's to do with constant crochet work?
