  1. Thank you so much but I'm not sure where the (next row of all DC) is coming from. Could you please explain.
  2. I posted this question but I'm not sure if I did it in the right place so I"m reposting. I'm working of this pattern - http://www.yarnspirations.com/patterns/adult-crochet-crew-neck-pullover.html?id=201109 Under the section Shape armholes: when it says cont even in pat over 51 stitches ... I'm not sure if I'm supposed to chain 1 or 3 at the beginning of each new row or if I'm supposed to make my sc in the turning stitch. The pattern I've been following is row 2 and row 3 I appreciate any help.
  3. Based on this pattern - http://www.yarnspirations.com/patterns/adult-crochet-crew-neck-pullover.html?id=201109 Shape armholes: when it says cont even in pat over 51 stitches ... 5. I'm working on a pattern that says "Rep last 2 rows for pat until work from lower edge measures 17 ending on a WS row. Fasten off. My question is: when they say lower edge does this include the ribbing or just that pattern part? Thanks in advance

    Gauge

Thank you for answering so quickly. Yes, this is a free pattern and here is the link to the pattern - http://www.yarnspirations.com/patterns/adult-crochet-crew-neck-pullover.html?id=201109 From what I can tell it just says 13sts and 11 rows = 4" in pattern. Perhaps you could take a look at the pattern and let me know what I'm supposed to be using. I was also wondering.... if you crochet tighter how many sizes up in hook is it typical to go. This is supposed to be an easy pattern. I thought I could get my feet wet with it but I feel like I"m already starting to drown. Thanks for your help.

    Gauge

I am new and have not used a gauge before. This is for a sweater. The pattern says 13sts and 11 rows = 4" in pattern. Does this mean that I am supposed to make a sample in the pattern used in the sweater? If so, then I'm not sure what stitches to use for the gauge because the stitches change. Can someone please help.
